Description
A bit of a biography on Lex:
-Half English, half Spanish
-19 years old
-Father was a pirate living quietly in Gijon(, Asturias, Spain) with his wife
-Grew up being told folklore and fairytales about heroes by his mother
-Had two best friends growing up; Rico and Gracia. They all loved adventure and would play together, fantasising about going on an epic quest to defeat the villains
-Saw his parents murdered at the hands of Vidal at age 14 but escaped unseen himself as his house burned down behind him
-Ran into a sort of grand master martial artist called Scathach by chance
-Spend 4 years living and training with her on an island off the coast of Scotland, plotting revenge against Vidal
-Is fuelled by his rage. It's what makes him as determined and strong as he is. His default expression is an angry one because of this
-He's not meek in the slightest. If he has something to say, he says it outright and is never afraid to fight
-However, he's a hypocrite. He feels that what his quest for revenge is just, but he kills people tangentially related to Vidal along the way. His revenge is selfish, pure and simple, but he thinks it's heroic in that he's after someone who's "evil".
-He is also plagued by strange nightmares where he is eviscerated over and over again. They make no sense to him and do not deter him from further fighting and killing.

And on his design:
-His armour is a custom made thing assembled from other sets or armour, made more-so for attack than defence.
-The red parts are simply steel painted red. He picked the breastplate because it resembles a ribcage (and the ship's head on his father's boat was a skeleton painted red, red being a colour associated with pirates at the time)
-The parts for the hands have sharp, pointed finger tips for scratching and slashing, as well and jagged knuckles. Just up from that is the forearm part. It has an extra layer of thick steel for blocking and deflecting weapons.
-The parts around his waist (the tasset) and his biceps are from a different set of armour entirely and are made of bronze. Unlike the red parts, they're not as sturdy and therefore not as good at taking blows. But, the arm parts have an addition of a hook each. Using these, Lex has a technique of disarming opponents of their swords. It's often dangerous to pull off, but he's been intensely training in strange, exotic battle techniques like that for years and it gives him one of many elements of surprise.
-He wears little armour for maximum mobility. Even though he is more than strong enough to carry full plate, the restriction on flexibility and the noise it makes makes him wear his own set.
-His body is pretty much that of a rugby players; built for power and momentum. He has thick trapezoids and an large upper body, yet his muscles aren't too well defined due to a layer of fat.
- HIS SWORD is something very special. It was something his father once owned yet never did much with and it seems to be unbreakable, as well as really sharp. In all the years he's owned it, it has never been in need of repair (bar the handle) and doesn't have a single scratch on it. Because of this bizarre quality, it has the potential to break regular weapons. Doing this requires allot of force on Lex's part and isn't always an advantage anyway (because sword shards and the remaining stub are just as dangerous up close than a complete sword). The metal it's self is red with the sharpened edge appearing almost "white". The 4 holes on the blade a threaded and appear to lock into something, but he doesn't know what, nor does he care. The handle is also something he made himself.
-He is skilled with many other weapons, including obscure, bizarre ones, but primarily uses his red sword.
-He has "dirty blonde" hair but his eyebrows and beard are a darker brown.
-The clothes he wears underneath are loose fitting and made for comfort. His shirt has a strip of chainmail down the middle, but it's there for design more than anything. The truth is that was all the chainmail he had on hand.

-Lex is associated with fire, anger and colour red, as well as the "Baton/wand" suit of tarot cards, particularly the Knight (I use the Marseilles deck as reference)
