I am obsessed with the artwork of Rayman, Child of Light, and Ori and the Blind Forest! I love Rayman's the most though. Just because they took the word "Cartoon" and pushed it to the limit with so much detail that it is on the edge of being realistic. This is what I want to apply to my cartoons. Have those cartoony characters, but place them in a world that is just beautiful. Make the audience look at the background as much as they do the character. That's when you know you've over-done yourself (in a good way).

Tonight's closing quote is:
"You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards." - Steve Jobs

I think he means that you can't know what is going to happen to you, let's say in your career, by looking forward. The only way to see it, is when it's already happened. Looking back on the things and hard work you put in to place yourself where you are now.

I would like to think that the adventure is always beginning until you die. Only when you die can you say "I had a good run." Things can only get better if you work hard at whatever it is you are doing. That's just how things work.
