His origin is the same from the DC Cinematic Universe, but it was part of a team up with Star Labs. Cyborg was part of the league first, but then he and Robin (Dick Grayson) were assigned to work on a Young Justice League project called Titans: A Teenage Hero Team. But they would call it Teen Titans. Cyborg served as second of command/ technician for the Titans for many years.
