Description In this version, Herbert Wyndham is the CEO of OrgoCorp, an Intergalactic research facility runned by him, where he possesses valuable cybergenetic intellectual property, and housed documentation for all species. He even was able to create new species and is working on a new society. He was the one who created: The Sovereign, Abilisks and The Ani-Men. This is where he let his belief that he is a god take place, and thus naming himself, The High Evolutionary. He even experimented on a bunch of animals that he stole from Earth, including a baby raccoon. He started ripping them apart and building them to become smarter. He especially enjoyed working on the baby raccoon, which he labeled as, "89P13". He notices that 89P13 is showing an increased brain development, which piqued his interest. High Evolutionary brought P13 to see the skies of Counter-Earth, a utopia he strives to create, something that he never did for other subjects. The High Evolutionary then brought P13 to the test chamber, showing him a device he created to forcefully speed thousands of years of evolution on the subject. However, it was not working and he jokingly asks P13 what is the solution. P13 reveals to him that there was a filtration leak in the machine, which causes it too fail. He sends P13 back to his cage, for he was done for the day. But, when he worked on the problems, it was working properly. This caused him so much anger, he ran to P13's cage, and pulled him out to witness the now fixed machine. He screams at P13, on how did he know how to fix it, and he decides to have P13's brain pulled out and examined, so he can perfect his creations. The next day, he arrives at the cages and he kills most of the test subjects, but P13, escapes and claws his face up, so bad, it was beyond healing. He vows to capture P13, and he ends up having to repair himself, but he turns himself into a perfect cybernetic body of a god itself, and he made himself, a new synthetic skin face, and with built in gadgets for defence.

Years have past, and he learns that P13 was now going as, "Rocket" is part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He's happy to find him after all of these years, but was contacted by Ayesha, High Priestess of The Sovereign, who was using a birthing pod to create her new child, one with more power, and being named, "Adam". The High Evolutionary decided to remove him from the pod, a little too early, however he was amazed that the almost grown up being, but he notices an orange shine from the roof, and it is crashes through and imbedded into the new being's forehead. High Evolutionary was pleased in what at the orange glow was and laughs in glee that he has witness a new species that he can mold into his own. He is the one to dub him as, "The Warlock". He tells The Warlock to capture P13 so that he can extract his brain to create a genuinely intelligent species, but Warlock returns injured, but tells him that he almost killed him. This cause High Evolutionary to almost kill him for being stupid, and that he needs to euthanize the rebel minded Warlock, but Ayesha gets on her knees and begs her God, not to kill her son. High Evolutionary is pleased at her grovelling, and talks about giving him a second chance, and tells Warlock to track down the Guardians and kill all of them, but not P13. High Evolutionary returns to his big project, creating a new race, while looking down on a new world, that was known as Counter-Earth, being filled with The Ani-Men, until his new race comes in and wipes them out, if they are not perfect.

He patiently waits for the Guardians to arrive after knowing that they will come for him, and he is confronted by Star Lord (Peter Quill) and Groot. He Initially ignoring their presence, he gestured for silence with a raised hand, and then tells them that they are witnessing progress on evolution, but Star Lord asks him, why Rocket is so important. He tells him that P13's brain is the key to his perfect species, and he is trying to find the perfect being to fill his new world, Counter-Earth. After Star Lord tells him that they saw a octopus selling drugs to little animal kids, High Evolutionary realizes that The Ani-Men are flawed, and he sends his Hell Spawn to wipe them out, and he was informed that the Ani-Men, including Ayesha, are now extinct. He thanks Star Lord for finding the flaws of the Ani-Men and proceeds to leave, after Star Lord and Groot start shooting the guards and his recorders. In his ship, he is now developing his new race, The Star Children, and one of them is showing signs of immense power. He is happy to see his progress growing powerful, but wants P13's brain to enhance the being's mind. He gets called to the bridge, and he finds out the Guardians have survive, leaving one of his Recorders pleading to him to stop "for God's sake". High Evolutionary then angrily shouted there were no gods, so he had to step in. Realizing his madness, The Recorders and The Controllers held High Evolutionary at gun point in an attempt at mutiny, only for the High Evolutionary to use his powers to kill them and destroy the control center. He then ordered the ship's personnel to kill the Guardians and attack the now flying Knowhere, a giant dead Celestial Head that is now the base for the Guardians of the Galaxy.

He finally meets P13 for the first time in a while, and he immediately attacks him and dehumanizingly rants that he was nothing but just one of his experiments, and that he will be inferior to him. But P13 tells him that he is no longer 89P13, he is now, Rocket Racoon. Rocket shoots him at point-blank range with a dual-barrel cannon. Before he could retaliate, High Evolutionary was ambushed by the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, with each team member dealing a strike until Gamora thrust a sword through High Evolutionary's stomach. With his prosthetic mask beginning to untether from his face, Gamora peeled it off completely to reveal his grotesque appearance. Instead of killing him straight away out of vengeance at the urging of Drax the Destroyer, Rocket showed mercy and decided to spare his life, but not before rescuing all the trapped animals and children on the ship. High Evolutionary is taken to the Knowhere prison, and OrgoCorp is shut down by Star Command. One day, High Evolutionary is recruited by Kang the Conqueror (Nathaniel Richards) and summons him to Chronopolis. He offers High Evolutionary to join him and he would be given the ingredients for making a perfect species, and he agrees to it. He helps with Kang's forces and makes some new members for Kang, and he was their when he saw Kang talk to the Council of Kangs, but he was mistaken for a Kang, which made Kang himself, upset.

In The Kang Dynasty, High Evolutionary helps out in the fight against the heroes but he was thrown back to his universe, and he is confronted by Magus (Evil Entity from the Soul Stone), where he is killed by him. Rocket doesn't feel relieved when High Evolutionary is dead, but he is at peace from his past forever.

High Evolutionary is based on the MCU and Comic version and is based on MCU actor, Chukwudi Iwuji, since he did a great job in the role from the MCU. His design is definitely based on the MCU, but has the comic design as well. The gold symbols on his purple cloth is based on his rivets from the comics. I went with a skin face, as his idea of perfection is his own face, but his body has the sculpting of what he thinks of a god like body. He is a modern Cruella De Vil, where he harms animals for himself, and he would definitely fit with HYDRA if he ever met them. The man is the perfect example of someone who wants to create and perfect the master race as see himself as a god to be worshipped. This is what he looks like without his fake face and headgear. Rocket's damage to him was severe and disgusting, but cool and awesome.
