Crash is a character from Quake 3, for those wondering, in the lore of that game, she was the one who trained Doomguy before the events of the original games.

I gave up on this specific piece ever since I got this far on it, wasn't satisfied with how it was turning out so far, so I scrapped it to remake it eventually.

I thought that it was interesting the idea of introducing her in a possible Doom Eternal sequel, this was made around the time we got the first teasers to Doom Eternal's second DLC, at the time Hugo Martin was talking about having interest in games like Warhammer: Vermintide 2, which are very melee hack 'n slash based.
