There just aren't enough genuinely good characters in things who are also necromancers... or at least okay with necromancy type magic. People's thanatophobia is showing. 'S just bones, why would it be inherently bad, especially when other magicy stuff isn't? Illusions?--just Lying Magic--Divinations?--where's that info coming from, and ain't it an invasion of privacy?--and not to mention all the destructive Fireballs possible with "normal" spells. Why ain't that stigmatized? XD
