Description Started doing some to-scale size references for Redwall-verse species, including some speculative ones (and corrected identifications, such as Jacques's few infamous instances of "crested lizards"... those are newts, buddy).

All the creatures in this series are obviously much less tiny or gigantic in proportion to each other than their real-life inspirations. Kinda got to do that to make a building useful for both small mice and massive badgers and otters!

On this page, we begin to show the smallest among the mustelid family, as well as the other main rat species--each of which make up the bulk of those species classed "Vermin". Weasels get a bad rap unfortunately, and not just in fiction. We also have three speculative additions of my own to the Redwall-verse: Small rodents which would likely be able to be in Mossflower or the surroundings, and these three are classed as "Goodbeast". While a Syrian Golden Hamster has appeared in the series, weirdly the European Common Hamster which is larger and, well, more common (where it isn't being effed over by monoculture caused habitat destruction). Also more members of the squirrel family: Souslik and Chipmunk, the non-tree squirrels!
