Description
The Wereox is a particularly physically powerful form of the Were-Cursed--and it is important to distinguish it from the ordinary Minotaur folk. Minotaurs, notably, are normal mortal creatures, with clear, natural eyes, and they very pointedly do not have tails, very unlike some of the other Beastfolk species on Ancardia. The Wereox may very well originally be a Minotaur victim, as this form of the cursed beings are those who most closely worshiped the God Onnin, keeper of Health and Healing, and Minotaurs are often fairly areligious with some offering to Onnin as the exception. Of course, it is much more likely that a Wereox is truly an afflicted Human, Dwarf, Hurthling, Wood Elf or even Drakeling, as those peoples also commonly venerate Onnin.
