Description
This is a shot from manga chapter 343 (*sob*) that demonstrates something that has annoyed me about the YGO anime for some time: for the love of ra, Yugi and Yami are the SAME HEIGHT!! >_
They're really more of a Kyo--Kyoshiro, if you think about it...*abruptly stops ranting*
(the spelling was intentional, i swear! ...>.>;; )

I always thought that yugi was slightly shorter than yami in the beginning (not that he grew, that the height difference was more of a differention thing), and that later on he grew to be the same height. It makes sense if you consider that Yami was older than yugi (when he 'died') than yugi was when they met, so yugi wasn't his height yet. I dunno, just my theory, though it makes sense if you compare it to him in GX.

sorry for double post but at the fansite [link] they have the info on the chars and they list Yugi's height as being 5'0" and Atemu's height at 5'4". They also explain that when Atemu takes control, the body "morphs" to look more like him, a fact they bring out more in the anime than in the manga. I don't think they change heights in the manga, but in the anime, they do. Yugi gets thinner and taller when he switches to Atemu to match more with how Atemu resembled when he was Pharaoh.

i don't know about the manga or the japanese series, but in the english series anime, there's a line where Joey says "No, wait guys, he's taller now. That's the pharoah." I think in the manga, they are the same height, but for dramatics purposes in the anime, they made the pharoah taller. cuz in the anime, whenever the pharoah and joey stand next to each other, they are almost the same height. but when it's yugi, yugi only comes up to Joey's chest!
while i've seen it, i don't understand how it's possible. yu-gi-oh gx threw me off too when they made yugi grown up, but he has the pharoah's deep voice and he talks in the pharoah's manner of speaking! i was like "wait, slow down, when did atemu come back?!"

The show cleary shows that Yami is like 4ft. taller than Yugi!!!
