Description
The tale of Baldr is a real tear jerker. Baldr was the most handsome god out there how beloved by all including his mother Freya. However, he began to receive visions of his death, so his mother placed a spell that not one thing or being couldn't harm him. But the spell also deprived him of any other senses and soon started to dive him crazy. Baldr begged Odin and Freya to remove the spell to no avail as both cared more that he was alive. So he turned to Loki for help to find something that could kill him, to which Loki found out that mistletoe could hurt him. So the two had a plan. During a game to test Baldr's strength, Loki used a blind god to shoot a mistletoe arrow at Baldr through the heart, killing him. Unbeknownst to either, Baldr's death would be the start of Fimblevinetr which leads to Ragnarök.
