I started with playing around with an Iron Cross, and that eventually turned into this, a compass based on my Slavin Empire series. The letter are the directions (if you hadn't figured that out already): Sever, Istok, Jug, and Zapad, and Severoistok, Jugoistocno, Jugozapadno, and Severozapadno. Sever's symbol is more fancy just because it's the North

The symbol in the middle is the symbol of the Slavin Empire, and the symbols all around are the kingdoms.

The top row represents the 'Old Kingdoms' and are, from left to right: Croatia, Greece, Serbia, and Bulgaria

The bottom row represents the 'New Kingdoms' and are, from left to right: Romania, Anatolia, Morava, and Hungary.

You may notice that many of the kingdom symbols are similar to the Slavin kingdom in that they feature a Cross and a Crescent, symbols for both Christians and Muslims, representing the close relationship and harmony between the two in the Empire, at least up till Mirov the Dueler
