Description
Within a WeekIt was official: Akimi's place was HUGE. Ziggy had been here for four days and he still hadn't seen all of it. It was so empty too. With Fletcher and Aoi still on their cruise it was just him, Akimi and the servants and neither really provided much in the conversation department. As Ziggy strolled down the vast halls he hummed tunelessly to himself, his thoughts moving from one subject to the next. They always managed to stray back to the same thing.
Akimi.
Akimi Pax was an...interesting person to say the least. Since they had first met, the man had been nothing but kind and caring toward him. It was strange. Most of the time people were only nice to Ziggy when they wanted something from him. Akimi was different though. He was nice without expecting any thing in return. Well, maybe not. He WAS trying to get into a relationship with Ziggy. Which was an even stranger idea. Maybe the demon was insane. Ziggy couldn't see why Akimi wanted to be with him at all.
The elf stopped in front of a door he hadn't been through yet. He tried the knob and found it locked. He pouted. NOW he was curious and no lock was going to keep him from finding out what was behind that door. Quickly shrinking himself down, Ziggy slipped through the crack under the door and entered the room. He returned to full size and began to explore.
It looked like some sort of impromptu studio. Akimi's art studio. A devious smile worked its way onto Ziggy's face. He'd always wanted to see what the mans art really looked like. He began to look around, admiring the works he'd find lying about here and there. They were good. Really good actually. The demon was an excellent artist. From across the room the elf spotted a large canvas covered by a sheet. Naturally, Ziggy's curiosity was piqued. He walked over to it and pulled the sheet away.
It was him.
Ziggy's mouth dropped open at the sight of himself painted on the canvas. It wasn't finished yet, but it already looked beautiful. It was an image of himself, laying down, covered only slightly by a thin sheet. He held a bunch of grapes by the stem, letting his tongue play with the grape closest to his mouth. The small elf's heart pounded wildly in his chest. Was this really how Akimi saw him?
"You weren't supposed to see that yet."
Two strong arms wrapped themselves around Ziggy, nearly scaring the elf out of his skin. Ziggy calmed, realizing it was Akimi, and leaned into the embrace.
"This looks completely awesome, Kimi." Ziggy said, looking up into the eyes of the tall demon. Akimi chuckled and leaned down to place a soft kiss on Ziggy's head.
"I thought you might like it. I wanted to finish it before you actually saw it though."
Ziggy smiled. Akimi was spoiling him.
"You're like a tiny Adonis. Utterly beautiful."
Ziggy felt his face heat up just slightly and he puffed up like a proud peacock. He liked it when the man complimented him. It made him feel special. Akimi really was too good to him. He had no idea why such a nice guy wanted someone like Ziggy. Akimi ran his hands underneath the the large shirt the elf was wearing and smiled.
"If you stick around long enough the entire house might be filled with pictures of you."
There it was again. Ziggy's smile disappeared. If Ziggy stuck around. The week was quickly coming to a close and the elf would have to make a decision about whether or not he wanted to stay with the demon. He still had no idea what he was going to choose. He liked Akimi, but he wasn't sure if he felt anything for him. He'd never really felt anything for anybody he had been with before.
A sudden heaviness in his chest made Ziggy flinch. He had been getting these feelings ever since he had started staying here. He hadn't told Akimi about them and he didn't plan to. What ever it was, Ziggy didn't like it. He hoped they would go away when the week came to a close, but somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that they wouldn't. They only happened when he was around Akimi and he knew that this was supposed to mean something.
Was this what liking someone felt like?
