Description
This tutorial is dedicated to AustN-Acer.I hope somethign will come of it to others aswell
First thing I notice, is the leg parts. I like them, and they look cool. But, if you'll notice, at the bottom of the shin guards, they point down. That means that if this soldier where to run, the armor would probably dig into his ankles, and that would probably hurt a bunch... Try making them arch upwards at the bottom. This is ok with the thighs though, cause they bend outwards only.
As for the upper body, the armor looks like a shirt. If it is made of metal, it wont be very flexible. So you can make breastplates in two general ways.
1. Either you cut out the abdomen part, making it both more flexible, but also making the person more vulnerable.
2. Or, You seperate the abdomen part into different plates, like over laying sheets of armor. That way, the person can bend, and fight comfortably
Same goes for the feet. Make sure the armor boots arent one big peice of metal. Your foot has more aticualtions than most parts of your body, and when you walk it bends. A LOT. So basicly, you are going to do the same as with the last parts of armor. Overlap parts.
