Description
Here's Proteus, a mysterious engine that used to worked on the Mid Sodor Railway and the oldest of the Falcon brothers. Very little is known about him as he mostly kept to himself. No one ever did get a chance to learn more as one day he got into an accident. One moment he was working, the next he was tumbling down the mountainside and simply... vanished from the railway. While the other engines never knew what happen to him, the truth he had tumbled off the side of the mountain and was badly damaged. A group of workmen found and took to a workshop to be repaired, being rebuilt in a design similar to Skarloey. He was eventually sold off to the Skarloey Railway in 1924 to work on the slate quarry where he worked there for a few years before meeting a certain fate across an old iron bridge...Row 1: Without Trailing Wheels
