Agreed... waay too many distractions online these days... I'm having to learn to cut down the amount of stuff I receive (e-mails, messages, website updates, blogs, etc.) so I've got more time to do my own stuff...

The emails are the reason I don't like my old hotmail account anymore. There are so many spam emails because of those bots that I don't like it at all.
I wasn't around when the internet first came out, but I started on Windows 95. My mom had a 3.1 though (I think)
I just have to cut down on time I spend on youtube, collegehumor, and even deviantART. I think I've got my over-use of facebook down though.

I still have an old Yahoo account that I keep around for various purposes such as IM - all my stuff goes to GMail which does a great job of trapping the spam.
When I got my first PC (1992) it was Windows 3.1 or... er, DOS. 
I've actually done a hefty clear-out of the friends and pages I have on my Facebook profile... so many people I used to know have been lost to the likes of Mafia Wars and FarmVille.

I try to keep my sister from Farmville, but she doesn't listen. XD
She still keeps up with school, but that game's still stupid.
Our windows 95 is SLOOOOW. I think we took the RAM out of it too. I don't even think it has USB ports. I have no idea how much memory my phone has, but it can take a lot of pictures. (internal memory. Not the mem card)
I only deleted 2 people from facebook so far. I have 166 friends. I find it crazy how people have over 350. XD
You got your first pc in 1992? I was only 3 yrs old! Lol I've been using computers (WINDOWS) since I was 5.
