silence surrounds me, i am the night.my footsteps unseen, i step towards the light.
in the shadows i lurk and my goal is leading
me towards my death and i cant stop cheating
myself out of a good nights sleep.
invisible to everyone i have no name.
i have no luck, no friends, no fame.
my target i search for, room by room,
life by life i must find them soon
or else forfeit my time.
an echo of mine i hear
footsteps double, someone near.
invisible to the shadow, i wait and see.
their target is mine, their weapon ready.
my chance lost, i return to the dark
and sheath my weapon for it shant ever see light again.
