It can create clones of anyone it sees and knows. This strange creature was from two meteors that crashed on Earth. As you can see and tell, it has those of a symbiote however it doesn't need to lach on a victim to survive. Its motive is to devour Earth under its whole body.

Luckily, Rafael and Kira were able to defeat it, thus the creature is no more but they'll never forget what enemy they had faced
