Thank you! That's andromeda and I love it too. It's actually a species called Hydrousisks made by Autumn-Echo c: I think customs are only 50 points, and theyre so pretty .o. maybe get one of those?

~ Aquatic Creature

Hmm.. I think unless you're set on a specific original species, I'd try to avoid closed species for a sona. Saves hassle later, trust me
If it's going to be a persona, it needs to fit you. If it's not going to be 'you' then it really doesn't matter so much if it doesn't.
Β This butthole is my persona~ They're a species I made all by myself and they fit me perfectly. Speedy isn't me, but they represent me as a persona, hence they're my sona.
Going on the rest of the list:
Cats I'd say are too overdone, same with canines
Dragon could be interesting .o. but may be hard to draw
Depends on the creature if it's aquatic. It might be hard to find ways to draw it out of water unless it's like a crocodile or a frog etc

Don't be afraid to change it down the line. If it's going to be a sona, it needs to change with you .o.
Also try out lots of things and then put what you like together. It's not gunna happen on the first try!
