So I adopted this guy from MetaphysicalMonsters because I felt like drawing a wolf character okay

If you imagine two types of coldness; one which is soft (light snowfall, a slight chill, a calm breeze, beautiful landscapes coated in white) and then one which is miserable (blizzards and hail, the biting cold, frostbite, avalanches of snow), then Lake is somewhere in between. A type of coldness that's just... cold. Not quite pleasant but not unbearable either. Enough to frost and freeze water, but without much nice, powdery snow - it's instead just crusted snow and a dull sky.
Almost a sort of sterile cold in a way, like inside a refrigerator - if that makes sense.

Anyway, Lake enjoys the cold since well, he kind of embodies it. He might have some ice power, but it's not very impressive. He can freeze water if it's not already too warm, make the air cold around him if he wanted, frost things? Yeah, ice powers aren't really as cool as they sound at first.

Lake is very quiet and tends to look very bored or disinterested since he doesn't really emote much (neither in expression or in his voice). He spends most of his time alone and in idle thoughts, which could make him look lonely or sad to an outsider, but he's honestly fine with being by himself. He has way too much free time and probably ends up spending most of it thinking up random blurbs of poems or stories, which he shares with no one (except maybe someone he trusts if they exist I guess)

Has thick fur (and wears thick clothing as anthro) but he's still always cold somehow. It doesn't bother him.

He likes his drinks and food cold.
He drinks hot chocolate cold, which is basically chocolate milk?

Lake might aspire to be an author or a storyteller someday, but he lacks a lot of enthusiasm to go all in on it. He just kind of goes along with his thoughts, maybe one day he'll get an idea he likes enough to stick with and proud enough to actually share.

He doesn't like heat very much, and honestly an extremely hot day in a region that's already warm might just kill him.

Lake's very tidy and likes things to be smooth and clean. He's a bit of a germaphobe, but luckily he's usually safe from that thanks to the coldness.
He wouldn't eat or touch rotten anything to save his life, honestly.

Thanks to being connected with ice powers, he's immune to frostbite, hypothermia and just in general can't die from any cold (even if it's extremely cold enough to be uncomfortable to him)

Lake can probably freeze a layer of ice over parts of his body or all of it - which might be his most interesting power, but also he can't really thaw himself from it and would have to use a source of warmth to melt the ice or break it. So if Lake froze his body, he'd be a bit armored with the ice maybe, but he'd also be helpless.
So that's not really something he does ever.

The tip of his nose and paw pads is always a bit frosted and there are small flecks of ice in his fur.

So anyway, hopefully it isn't too obvious I don't usually draw wolves or canines from this lol
I might do more with him since I'm kind of getting an idea for something but shrug

I hope I didn't break any of the adopt rules with this, I hope giving him an anthro form is okay
