I was thinking; it's interesting how StarClan cats apparently will fade away as the living forget about them. I think it'd be the same for Dark Forest cats.

But maybe when StarClan cats fade away, their bodies fade more and more into pure light. Until they're left just twinkling stars, forgotten but still seen by their clans every night.

But as Dark Forest cats fade, their bodies blend more and more into the shadows, growing distorted with nightmarish features. Until they're nothing more than nightmares and terrors to haunt the living.
