Description
Sorry for the big lack of art, I've been very overwhelmed with some stuff going on in my life recently. I am somewhat coping by revisiting an old FNAF fan-game/story idea lol. Uhh, so, yeah. I never posted anything about it before. They are: Casey the Cat, the sheep who I haven’t named yet, Chuck the Bull, "Rabies," and Nut the Squirrel.
There's a dragon as well who's very important to the story, and I drew them but I didn't like how it looked so maybe I'll draw them better later. Casey has a small mouse animatronic friend as well, but I don't have her design down yet. There might also be a duck, I've been back and forth about including him.
The cat and the sheep are technically new, or rather were other animals but I decided to change them.
ggggg I guess I'll ramble a bit about my ideas about how my hypothetical fangame would work. (I call it fan game, and it's very heavily inspired by FNAF, but it's not connected in the same universe just to clarify)
So in classic FNAF format, you play as night-time security guard at an animatronic entertainment restaurant. Checking cameras and stuff. The main animatronics (Casey, the sheep, Chuck and Nut) are allowed to wander around at night.
But... they aren't peaceful.…. their night-time programming is kind of….…. just bad... and so they'll often end up performing or talking loudly if they find you and register you as an audience. That's right, these guys don't kill you, they’re just annoying lol. Hide under your desk if they approach your office and most should leave your eardrums be.
Oh, except the bull. He’ll kill you. Chuck performs fine during the daytime, but something about the lights being dim causes him to act more erratically. You can lure him away by activating lights or sounds in other rooms and if you see him standing outside your office, staring at you, do NOT hide. He'll find you no matter what. Calmly make a disturbance in a nearby room, and he should leave... hopefully. Y’know, unless another animatronic’s making a ruckus in your office, in which case you might be screwed.
Quick rundown of the other main animatronics: Casey is the loudest and tends to demand the most attention. She can be lured by distractions and hidden from once she’s at your office. Will sometimes start performing when a camera is on her, can be used to stall her. The sheep is the third loudest and is not very affected by distractions, but they aren’t able to find you if you’re hiding. They’re silent as they move room to room, however, so it’s easy to lose track of them. There’s possibly some way to delay them, but I’m not sure on that yet. Nut the squirrel (who is a smaller quadrupedal animatronic) is second loudest, and the most obnoxious. He’s very fast, and will move through rooms constantly. He can be distracted for a time, but it won’t take long for him to get to your office. You are unable to hide from him, and so once he’s in your office he’ll sit on your desk and make chattering noises. You can maybe throw a nut down the hall to get him to leave lol.
and Rabies… Rabies is the affectionate nickname staff has given the old, decrepit animatronic kept in storage. Originally it was going to be salvaged and refurbished as a new character, but it was deemed to glitchy to work properly. It was deactivated then, but recently has been seemingly reactivated to try again - god knows why. On night one it can be seen on the storage camera, though it never leaves the room. Just makes garbled mechanical sounds and scratches the walls. Night two it begins to roam, it moves slowly but randomly. Garbling, twitching and scraping along. Occasionally locking up completely. But through all it’s erratic behavior it is hunting… but not hunting for you.
If another animatronic and Rabies are in the same room, the cameras will go dark and banging, scraping, and scratching sounds can be heard until the other animatronic leaves the room, now with a bit of damage. So yeah, Rabies will ruthlessly savage the other animatronics.
And of course, any damage the animatronics sustain during the night is money taken out of your paycheck. So not only are you trying to preserve your own skin, you have to keep the main animatronics undamaged as well, as tricky as it is.
Luckily Rabies can be stunned by lights and most animatronics can be lured away from it. The bull is a notable exception as he will automatically avoid going in rooms that Rabies occupies. If you do manage to get Chuck in the same room as Rabies however, the cameras will go dark and whatnot similar to the others, but when Chuck leaves he will be undamaged and Rabies will be completely deactivated in that room for an hour or two. This would be tricky to do, but the best way to deal with Rabies.
Anyway, there’s unfortunately more reason to keep Rabies at bay than just losing money. There would be three stages of damage taken for each animatronic and as they get more mauled they start act more sporadic themselves. Tricks that use to work on them might fail. Where once Casey would perform in front of your office, she’ll occasionally just stand there staring at you silently instead. The sheep makes a horribly loud sound for no reason in another room. Nut gets even louder and faster. But finally at the last level of damage, Casey and the sheep will become deadly and kill you once they find you. At least the hiding trick still works on them.
And well, Nut at the final level of damage becomes……. headless. He’s actually totally harmless in this state and can’t even make noise. It’s quite sad actually, and he’ll wander aimlessly through the rooms until he reaches your office. Where he’ll just sit there the rest of the night.
So yeah, I think that’s the general gist of the game idea. There’s actually more to it in the storyline, but Ill leave that to explain later maybe. I think I got through the most interesting idea. Idk I’m having fun thinking about it at least.
