recently I decided to dabble in vector art, using an app called Curve, and I have been enjoying it so far! Honestly, it almost feels like cheating, being able to adjust the lines to exactly where I want, instead of drawing the same line over and over until it looks right lol. That said, it does feel slower to draw this way, maybe just because I'm not quite used to it.

Anyway, I had an old sketch of Woneye - a character from my Worry Winding story - as a baby that I used as my first proper attempt with the program. I think the sleek vector look really fits the style that I imagine for Worry Winding, so this was really satisfying to draw out! Woneye is one of my favorite little oc guys, even though Worry Winding has definitely been on the backburner of my story ideas as of late. I do hope to make a comic or some kind of drawn out story for it eventually, until then I think I'm just gonna be pretty scarce with sharing it.

One random lore-related thing I do feel like clarifying in this image though, is that solitaries (the species that Woneye is) tails stem from the middle back instead of from the end of the spine like in Earth vertebrates. In case you were thinking that the tail might have been incorrectly placed.

I've been working on a Wings of Fire design (I guess I'll call it) with Curve now and it's been turning out pretty well, so perhaps look forward to that.
