Meet Heshy.
There are a couple of things wrong with his feet.

#1, his feet are on the same plane, which makes it look like one leg is shorter than the other.
#2, his left foot is drawn at another angle from the rest of him, and drawn as if it was a block, which makes it look flat.

Solutions:

#1: I brought the toe down a bit so his heels, not his heel and his toes (it's not how he's standing, see.), are on the same plane.
1a: OR, I can make his leg bend at the knee a bit, which raises his heel, and puts his toes in line with his other foot.

#2: a: the corners are at right angles on his feet? What is this? Why, that would mean the sole of his shoe is a squarish shape, like in a1! Too make it look like b, which would mean his sole is rounded, as it rightly should be, as shown in b1, we must round the corners a little. Take an ellipse, for example. It looks wonky and dumb if the sole, or bottom, is drawn straight, like in c. To properly convince the veiwer that the glass is cylindrical, one must AT THE VERY LEAST match the ellipse on the bottom to the one on top (If you what to get picky and correct, one should deepen the ellipses as they go down), as in c1.

ONE MORE! OMG THE HEELS!!
Micah has noodles fpr feet. poor lad, no soccer for him. No standing, either.

1! See, the foot has a heel. A big ol' heel, right there, where heels usually go.
2. If you stick flesh on it, it's still a pretty prominent feature.
3. Pointing the foot out like that makes the heel...not go away. AMAZING!
4. It even has a shoe on and the darn thing's STILL THERE!
5. Not like this. It would make the regularly positioned foot look like
6., which I.....forgot to draw on before scanning....so there's the ms paint version. lookatit. It's a noodle..

My beloved and infinitely wise art teacher said something about ankles, and if I figure out what the heck she was talking about, I'll post that, too.

So....QUESTIONS?? Or y'gottit? Yah?
