Clint Eastwood was the turning point in my life. The song alone is awe-inspiring, but when i first saw the video, i was all like

The concept of "Sunshine in a Bag" has stuck with me for the longest time, and I finally decided to do a little series of it. I wanted to depict how the band members would have their "Sunshine", and 2D comes first. The guy is a pill popper, and though it may make me sad as Hell, it just adds to his charm. So, I figured, that was 2D's sunshine.

I added the sticky note from his mother because I thought it would give it a nice sentimental touch. Rachel is a nurse after all, and I figured she'd be more than happy to give her Stupot whatever makes him happy. I know I would. I would spoil him ROTTEN!!!

Bruises are just characteristic of 2D now, and it seemed fitting to have him in some sort of pain that wasn't his usual array of head-splitting migraines. You can all think whatever you want about how he got that neck wound.

My only regret about this drawing is that I didn't add as much detail as I would have wanted. Gorillaz have a flair when it comes to accessories and little details that just catch your eye, and this feels too plain to me. Still, 2D came out so freakin' cute, I thought that would be compensation enough.

Be on the look-out for the other three, and if you have any suggestions about what their Sunshine might be, please lemme know! Noodle-chan and Russel are going to be the hardest to do....
