0.5, 2B mechanical pencils on light-weight paper.OK, in my wanderings through the galleries of the many awesome artists that we have here at the DA,
I've noticed that Noodle-chan and Murdoc have been getting very- ...close, as of late.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT!! and it always seemed to me that Noodle-chan couldn't stand Murdoc. That's why I loved the concept of these two taking a different turn in their relationship; Away from being just band-mates to something more. (Hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge.
)MY thought, however, was to see it from Noodle's point of view. Seeing as she's finally becoming a very attractive young woman
(she's Japanese, duh!) her hormones must be all out of whack! Like most young women, she has developed a slight crush on an older man, and that's OK. But the thing that freaks her out is, IT'S MURDOC, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! She can't figure out why she's getting so intrigued by him. 
I can honestly say I know how she "feels",
I have a thing for older men too. 
This thing took me HOURS to do! mostly because the freakin' pencils I was using smear like HELL! But also mostly because I wanted to capture Noodle-chan's tormenting turmoil. I erased her face about a dozen times before I finally got that certain look of "WTF?!"
I love the way Murdoc came out, too! He's got his shirt off, DAYUM!!
And it's not very often you see him holding a MARTINI glass. At least not for me... I don't know if I did his cape and staff right, but I still love the way it came out. 
PLEASE DON'T THINK I'M A FREAK FOR THIS!!

I see them more as in a father-daughter relationship, but I could see this happening. XD Girls go through a phase where they like older men indeed, and Noodle is probably no exception.

I personally never thought of Murdoc as a pedo, yes, but young girls DO get feelings like this, and that was all i wanted to portray.

Murdoc actually prefers "hotter" girls (in his own definition) but Noodle's just too cute (outside and inside) to be ignored!
Plus, I really believed, despite him selling his soul to Satan just to be the best bass player in the world (no doubt! XD), which I still believe is shallow, Murdoc is still a nice guy.

Ok well I dont quite understand how i stumbled upon all of these, but they are very good! lol theres a lot of emotion in all of them, and sometimes its just funny to see some big goofy grins.
I dont understand if theres some kind of timeline, or story going on here..or if this is something your making yourself? lol im confused but i like these, i think my favorite has got to be the one where he's hugging the shorter girl lol its so flirty!

this is aswome, and no I dont think your a freak for drawing this, its very tastfull and realistic, I hate seeing pics of these two when there out of character then its not them, just people who look like them you know?
oh yes, and I love how you did the hands ^^ I do love to draw hands, there quite fun
its odd, I saw this picture by accedent, and Iv been typing in Gorillaz related stuff for 3 days now, including these two, but all I had to type in was "wrong" and I got this very lovly picture ^^

Thanks so much! This is one of my personal bests, adn I'm glad you liked the more realistic take on these two. I never really saw Murdoc as a pedophile, but at the same time, i doubt he'd let the opportunity go by. As for Noodle-chan, she's a mature young woman who alwayshad hereyes on other guys, that's true, Seeing Murdoc this way wouold surely confuse the hell out of her. I know it would outof ME. 
And now i am rambling so i'll shut the fuck up.

but no I dont realy see Murdoc as a Pedo...but thats why I like Noodle to at least in her mid to late teens in these storys or pictures...but if shes just a lil kid then its beyond fucked up...but yeah, I dont see Murdoc passing up any opertunity when it comes to sex, though Iv always thought of there relationship more in a father-daughter kind of way, but that aside this picture is amazing, looks just like the real Gorillaz

thank you! this os one of my own personal favorites, and a pride of mine as well. I love how it came out. Murdoc seems to have that type of pulll for all girls, dammit. Only i wouldn't be able to come anywhere NEAR him. I'd be too embarassed and scared that he'd hate me.

Great work! I generally hatehatehate any kind of "slash" fanart - especially when it comes to Gorillaz - but this was so well (and tastefully) executed. Your hard work on expressions really paid off.

Thank you! In a way i know how you feel. I've seen some weird stuff out there, and i can't really say i like it.
Don't get me wrong, i'll live the ART in them, of course, but the content may go a bit too far for one of such a small cranial capacity like myself.
I'm really proud of this one because yes, it DOES show a bit of attraction, but it's also realistic. Murdoc may be a Sadistic over-heated pervert, sure, (It just adds to his charm. 
But I digress, I'm rambling. Thanks again, this is one of my personal best! YAY!
