Description To whomever sees this; Welcome to the Epsilon Signal!

This is a nation-rp me and a bunch of my buddies have been taking part it and it is still evolving as we speak, this first map will be unrecognizeable by probably the 6th map!

I'll summarize major events that I know of during each log

And if you wish to know who I am, I am Kyro of the Chosen (Later to become the Sanctified Czanate)

Major Events;

  • The Epsilon signal was detected several months ago in Sector 9-2A on October 4th, at 18:32, by the AES Ornesia. The Ornesia was deployed in response to a detected explosion, to which the cruiser encountered the Epsilon Signal. Analysis of the recording detects standard asteroid collision to be expected in the region, however, is accompanied by high-pitched frequencies and morse recording that bear extreme resemblance to USF decrypted communications. Due to inference in the tape, the Morse code was unable to be translated by Planetary Administration and has since been sent to the USF for manual analysis, primarily due to a lack of experts in such technology. Sector 9-2A has been claimed and defended by USF forces ever since, while the origin of the Epsilon Signal remains unretrievable to due a high concentration of Kharizium in the asteroid field. The official theory, as provided by the USF and Planetary Administration, is that the Epsilon signal originates from a malfunctioning black box on a USF cruiser lost in FTL, which likely met its fate by accidentally flying into the Kharizium clusters. Still, this explanation does not explain why the Epsilon Signal can interfere with and present itself on virtually any comms net, nor why the frequency range varies for each recording. Enarsi itself, however, is far too occupied with internal national conflicts and power grabs to deal with the Epsilon Signal, after all, Frontier planets have much to deal with in the current era, and thus the Signal remains one of the greatest mysteries on Enarsi, and possibly one of the greatest dangers.

  • The First Transmission of the Signal was decoded to be "Epsilon is no longer alone"

  • Enarsi is a Frontier planet colonized in the later months of 2236 in the system of Lupar, far in the Frontiers of the galaxy, far out of the rich of the UBS and USF fleets at the time. Despite lacking an abundance of resources, and a lack of technological support from investors, the nations on Enarsi managed to slowly thrive over time. During the Corpo Spike of 2374, the planet and its moon gained several massive investors, abruptly and suddenly causing a spike in its economic growth, alongside space piracy. The struggle against Corporate debt and favor continues today, alongside efforts to combat pirates in the various sectors of the system. These factors, coupled with tension over resources and supplies between the Enarsian nations, have led to a period of tension in Enarsian history. Truly, there is no telling where the Frontier planet will go in its future, and with the USF and UBS closing in on the Frontier, it will be up to the denizens of Enarsi to decide their own fates.
