Yes, the wolf in this picture is Zayd, not Zalt (because the two do look pretty much identical).

This is also based off this short little 'story' I wrote about Zayd, featured in this deviation: It's Not Your Fault . Admittedly a story I - who has a lot of terrible/sad backgrounds for his characters - found to be quite sad and shocking. One of the most devastating events in Zayd's life, considering he does slaughter his whole family.
