1)Macaroni probably just bumped into Pepper one day and Pepper was just like "someone smaller?? befriending activate" and immediately adopted the child as a friend and/or sister before they had even spoken. and what better way to start a friendship than with (classic conditioning and bribery) SHARING his favorite food!! : ))))

Kei literally just existing and being the most cool thing Pepper has ever seen. She is probably very confused.

Simmilarly, Minnow. Pepper may not know anything about magic but if its Minnow talking he's damn well willing to learn. I'd imagine Minnow was just doing some reading and Pepper wiggled his way up to see what was happenin and then just. stayed. so Minnow decided "ok, storytime ig"

Whomst is this wyngling Pepper has started seeing around the nook?? That likes to be in corners alone and draw and read and look at teef?? Pepper is mesmirized. He must know more.
