Alias looked around the room but no one was around… and it felt eerily quiet and still. The water drakling swallowed nervously. It was night time, sure, but-… it still seemed ominous. The moon rays shining through the window, cast everything in a cool blue hue. Normally, they’d find the night very soothing but right now Alias was too on edge to be anything but frightened and wary. Taking a deep fortifying breath, the small finley slid out of the bed and stepped toward the door. They had to find out what was going on. They had to find out if they were where they had to be… and if everyone was okay.
Alias reached for the doorknob and pulled the door open with a dull creak. They flinched at the sound, pinning their ears back and squinting into the darkness… but nothing stirred. Alias shuddered when they remembered the monster and they looked fearfully into the shadows, half expecting them to leap out and attack them. Yet nothing happened. With a faint whimper they carried on into the hallways, unsure of where to go, but determined to press on.
Alias pressed up against the wall as they walked into the darkness. Their hand felt the wall end, causing their stomach to flip in surprise. The drakling let out a trembling breath. They had to try and calm down! Perhaps… if they could at least see a bit better-… and then almost as if fate had heard their innermost wishes, Alias felt a sensation wash over them and there was instantly a blue glow emanating around them. The young draken looked their body over in the light immitted from strange stripes along their neck and sides and saw that they had changed! Alias couldn’t help the smile that stretched along their mouth.

Not sure what else to say other then... I love how Alias is looking right now!! I was hesitant on the ears because I loved how their markings looked with their original ears, but I'm so glad I went through with it, because the markings still look great and now Alias looks sharp and awesome! I'm really happy with this!
