Kaylee was about to step into Whistler Crest for the first time, but she was always told to make a proper first impression. She wasn’t sure what that meant but when she came up with the idea of a prank to one of her big brothers, he enthusiastically agreed that it would be the perfect way to join the new community. A few of her siblings helped her with her plan before they set out on their way. Thinking they’d give Kaylee a taste of independence as well as confuse the unsuspecting finley, they parted ways just on the outskirts of the bustling town, where Kaylee would be able to finish her preparations.
As she started prepping for her prank, a young nyulop and a drakling appeared. They seemed curious about what she was doing, so she asked if they could keep a secret. The two seemed excited and quickly said they could, so Kaylee told them of her prank. How she had three different types of Chilly Hot Shrooms; some plain, some warmed up and others chilled. She was going to remove the stems and dip them in food dye, so that they’d resemble Zingy Berries. She made sure beforehand that they’d all be close to the right size as well. She thought to also include a few real Zingy Berries as well. Then when a finley tried some of the delicious sour berry, they may find themselves instead eating something horribly bland, shockingly cold, or ridiculously hot. With the left over stems she was going to crush and put into drinks as well!
The two fellow youngsters roared with laughter and looked at her set up with giddy awe. They introduced themselves as Memento and Corduroy, and asked if they could help. Kaylee told them her own name and readily welcomed their assistance, already thrilled to have companions to help her on her endeavours.
As the three of them set to work, her two new companions talked to her about how they had accidentally made new finley from Sporepoles, and that was why they were there in Whistler Crest. Their guardian, Topsy, said that the citizens would surely be willing to help them with the newly sentient children (whatever that meant). Kaylee mentioned that she was in town to live with her big cousin, Vanhira. They were more like sisters, due to their family situation, and she really missed her. The letters they would exchange just didn’t feel like enough, so when she was old enough her parents said she could live in Whistler Crest too.

Whistler Crest: Flash Prompt! I am super happy with how the image came out. It was way later then I wanted, since I just haven't really been feeling up to speed, but I got it done! It's my first pic of Kaylee as an official character of Whistler Crest! It was supposed to be a picture of her seeing Vanhira, but plans have changed and this is what it is now, but I'm not complaining. I'm quite happy with this.
