Unfortunately, I have to take a little break from FFL because I've run out of material (not ideas, but my ongoing problems with bing AI, which is essential for FFL). Nevertheless, I have a small replacement program which also has to do with the world of FFL. Here I will tell you a bit more about the races and their position in the world.

The halflings are subjects of the great Latican Empire, a huge empire in the middle of the continent of Andoria, where mainly humans live. The halflings have always gotten along well with humans and have blended seamlessly into Imperial society. They live in the large pastures west of the great river Morrenus in small communities. They are governed by a mayor, who in turn reports to a chancellor, who in turn reports to the Imperial authority.

Halflings are valued for their politeness and the fact that they are the only ones in this world with a functioning pastoral and banking system. In the big cities, they often work as clerks or letter carriers. They are also known for their culinary skills, so it is not surprising that Helblings are among the most famous and important chefs in the empire.

Militarily, Halflings are often used as scouts due to their light-footedness, but they have also produced some brilliant strategists who have brought victory to the Empire on the battlefield.
