I was watching news on my break at work when I saw a commercial urging Minnesota citizens to basically call the governor and complain until Same-Sex marriage is put to a vote in the hands of the majority.
I don't know why you would put a vote concerning the minority in the hands of the majority. It seems unfair and will certainly come out biased.

Not twenty seconds after this commercial aired, a news report on WCCO informed a largely uncaring crowd that two men had been shot outside the Gay 90's, a club that is obviously gay friendly. While the police and news remain ambiguous as to the nature of the crime, it does not take a genius to figure out it was hate related.

I was upset, and I was finally motivated to make this. It's just the start of my project, which will hopefully move to better posters, better logos, and better planning. Eventually, I would like to put such posters up around the Twin Cities, but as my girlfriend points out, that may not be healthy.

I would much rather leave the work to your interpretation, but upon request I will have no problem explaining the imagery. It will help me work on what needs to be emphasized before the final work is done and put up for my fellow Minnesotans to see (though I'm now a cheesehead).
