HISTORY LESSON TIME!!!!Pitts and Todd were a 1930's comedy duo known best as the female counterparts of Laurel and Hardy. Hal Roach teamed up comediennes Thelma Todd and Zasu Pitts for the series until Patsy Kelly replaced Pitts when she left the Hal Roach Studios.
While I love Laurel and Hardy, I think Pitts and Todd were funny in their own way and deserve some recognition. They are underrated.

Adorable! They seem to be forgotten & I just love that series! Patsy was great as Thelma's "Palsy", but Zasu was a unique comic persona.... very different from Patsy Kelly who, (After Thelma's murder) went on to play the second-banana roles throughout the rest of her career. I spotted her in a couple of 1960's TV shows.
In an episode of The Untouchables she is an extra watching a boxing match amongst the crowd.
Also: In an episode of Dick Van Dyke's TV show. She was a juror in the episode where he is the foreman of a jury.
I know she was also in "Freaky Friday", but I have yet to see it!
