like fingers reaching down into the water, the tree of life draws from the eternal springs.oddly this is actually a representaion of hades.
the nine limbs coming out of the top of the tree are the nine paths from the nine levels to the center of hell the tree tops represent the wildnerness or dark woods we must bass though.(all paths lead to the same place) the tears of the dammed (the devil) flow from the base of the tree via the five rivers of the under world. filling the twin pools and feeding the eternal spring that the tree of life grows from, the circle is complete. the monach butterflies symbolize the souls rebirth
behind the tree is the Asphodel Meadows, home of the heros.
