Darkness

Have you ever noticed,
The darkness closing in around you,
But you don’t stop it,
For you know one thing,
It is not death.
Continuing its reign over your body,
Over your mind.

All of a sudden it comes to you.
That’s what it is!
Of course!
But it is too late now, your bodies accepted it,
The battle is over and now you’re the puppet.

And so begins the war to rid of it,
Your mind arming those weapons,
Those deadly chemicals,
Then you realize, its not YOUR mind arming them,
The forced end upon you,
Simply because you failed to notice it.
