It’s Been A Long TimeIt’s been a long time,
Since I picked up this pen,
And wrote what I felt,
But I’m back now.
Nothings changed, by the way.
It’s all the same.
People getting fucked over,
And I’m as unsuccessful as ever.
Turned down since last time I was here,
I’m just a friend, she says.
Sure.
Oh well, I guess.
But I still don’t know,
Where to look to find the girl of my dreams?
The one who’ll always enjoy me,
And who I’ll enjoy being with.
Other than that,
Not a lot’s happened…
But I’m back now.
Back to where I belong.
