LightLight shining through,
Block it out,
So much light,
What’s it doing?
Run!
Must run from the light,
Escape the unforgiving brightness.
“There is no escape,” It’s saying,
Yes there fucking is,
Run faster!
Yes!
The darkness at the end of the tunnel!
It’s burning,
Igniting the darkness,
Causing it to glow,
My eyes!
Few more strides,
Last little distance.
Don’t let it get you!
Dive!
But it’s too late,
The light encases you,
Surrounds and destroys you,
Maybe next time.
