You know it’s hard,
Doing this to myself,
And I’m sorry,
Sorry I have too.

I’m sorry I hurt you,
Sorry I sought for attention,
Though I didn’t realize it,
So don’t hate me.

Please don’t hate me,
I’m not worth that.
I really didn’t mean it.
So on this poem goes.

This poem of insecurity,
The one I wrote,
To apologize for being me,
To apologize for hurting you.

I saw it differently,
I didn’t know I was being…
…How I was being.
But now I do, and it wasn’t supposed to happen.

Maybe I’ll go,
Maybe I’ll stay.
But now I know,
I’m not your everything.

But that’s ok,
I’m all right now.
Won’t be around as much,
But that’s ok, its time I got out of here.
