Description
i mentioned recently that i wanted to do some different pics to take my mind off of the "dett-blade replacement" series of fails that we call my "previous pictures"

so i decided to draw a compilation/mashup of characters from videogames
the only two stipulations i set myself for the picture were:
1 - i have to have owned/played these games
2 - i have to feel like drawing them

so here are the characters i've drawn & why they're on this pic [From left to right and in the order i drew them]

Azazel [The Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth+] TOP LEFT
One of the games i got for my Nintendo switch was Binding of Isaac
i wanted to get it as i remember watching a guy on youtube play the original versions of the game on the PC and really enjoying them
and the game itself is fun...though F***ING difficult to to the randomisation of the items and maps
One of the characters you can unlock in the game is Azazel...he is unlocked by making THREE deals with the devil in ONE run
Azazel is my boi [thats what i alwyas say to my brother when i choose this character]
he is my favourite character in this game due to his default flight ability and his powerful, though slow and short ranged, brimstone blood laser
i just HAD to draw my demon boi

Monstro [The Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth+] BOTTOM LEFT
yeah...same game
but in the game Monstro is one of my favourite bosses
...yes he's one of the easiest bosses...but i love the face he makes when he bounces around (which is what i drew here)
that expression just tickles me

Wario [Wario land/mario/warioware games] BOTTOM CENTRE
Recently i've been re-attempting WarioLand II [2] for the gameboy
a game that i quite enjoy
admittedly i like Wario and Luigi more than Mario [i know it sounds blasthemous...but i do like mario...but luigi and wario are more interesting to me]
i decided to draw the main man himself (basing on his regular design of yellow top and purple overalls)
...i'm not a huge fan of warioware....i like smooth moves...but i'm not too interested in the others...i am however more interested in aquiring the other Warioland games

Octodad [Octodad: Dadliest catch] TOP CENTRE
A suggestion from one of my brothers
i love this goofy guy. His blue suit, the blurbles of his communication and the enjoyment mixed with rage of the game
NOTE: his skin color might not be accurate...but at least all his toher details are correct...

Voltorb [Pokemon franchise] BOTTOM RIGHT
A suggestion form my other/youngest brother
one of my favourite pokemon...i know that it's just a pokeball with a face...but so what?
just proof that the current gen poemon aren't the only "lazy designed ones"
besides i love referring to them as angry pokeballs

finally
Link [The Legend of Zelda - This one: A Link to the past] TOP RIGHT
I was struggling to decide who to draw when i got a few suggestions from my mom
in the end i went with the Link suggestion [the other contenders were: Samus Aran and Sir Daniel Fortesque]
For the design i chose the one from 'A Link to the past' ...even though i haven't beaten the game
why this one? ...because i acutally like the deesign of the shield form the concept and/or promotional art of it over the regularly used hylain shield design
i also tried to draw the master sword that appears on the opening title sequence
Note: I kinda made his hair a tad too dark [though some links have more browner hair] ...my attempt to use a brown pen on top of a yellow sharpie didn't come off as well as hoped...but it doesn't look horrible AND i'm extremely pleased with the pose
