Because it is his site? That's rather unfair. Everyone else is supposed to have permission before using anything they don't own in their work and it's not a bad thing to need it first, it's fair to the artist that way.

You know the agreement you have to agree to to sign up?

It has two important tidbits:

You agree to let dA use the work you upload for their purposes, usually advertising. This counts as permission.

You agree to follow any rules that may come up or change after you make your end of the agreement.

I don't think he did, but, at the same time, it was. It's like if someone takes your sweatshirt and then stretches it out because they wear it so often. Yeah, they like the sweater, but they kinda ruined it in the process of expressing that like.

totally not thinking... it's mostly a mock just to give the concept.. i only made it for my own reference, but then i got to sharing some of what's been going on and didn't really think about it.

I don't want you to take it down, cause it's not like it's fully uploaded or anything. But it really does bug me.

For one, it's butchery of my work, which really hurts. Two, you're supposed to be an example of how to do things, and this behaviour shows people that it's okay to do whatever the hell you want with other people's work, especially emotes.

I'm sorry that I got so upset.
