Ah man where should i start with this one?, theres just so much to look at. The clouds for example have some good tones to make the city in front of it stand out, still they are greatly detailed which is such a beautiful thing. Now once we move to the foreground we see this little bay with a huge hightech city and surrounding aircrafts. It fits in perfectly with the scene and the concept that goes with it, it is for 'Noir' isn't it? Anyway besides that those buildings are so pretty i would suggest to sharpen them a bit less then you have done now, i think they stand out just that little to much like eilidh already said. Perhaps you could involve some more mist as well? O well a part from this i can't fault it really, ow and the person in the bottom section is a nice addition to the scene as well. Is that robot/aircraft in front of him a sort of messenger who sends/recieves and shows particular letters/holograms? Or am i completely wrong haha, just a bit curious about that : ). Overall its a beautifull scene and surely worth all its attention, well done man!

P.S Can we expect any huge cloudscenes in the near future?, i'm just in love with painted skys/clouds and especially when they involve certain high-tech features, hope you can give me an anwser to that question.

You're just getting better and better.
The sky in this one is spectacular. The buildings -- perhaps a small hint of haze over them would make them blend better with the rest of the composition; right now they stand out perhaps too much. And then there are the sharp white lines you've used for the waves. If this were a more abstractely painted scene, they would be more than just okay; but with all the refinement in the sky (and indeed, the entire picture), they look like hastily added elements, not quite fitting in.

Keep it up!

Wow... Martin, you just get better & better, dont you? Hehe, once again i find myself in awe at the wonderful conceptualisation & executation of this piece, the use of colour pallete & texture brings a clean running picture that conjures the mind's imagination nicely, your definitely perfecting a skill most worthy, i truly do look forward to your future works! Im not concluding myself this very second though; your image deserves more than simple "COOL", for it captivates my mind.

First of all, i have to say the concept is very much an excellent thought of something futuristic yet not out of grasp completely, the Robed like figure in contrast with the strange machination seem so different yet at the same time blend with each other, it is an interesting subject that of interaction with perhaps more 'intellectual' machines, i think what your aim here was the conceptual purpose of these machines; they carry valuable information for those who seek it. This platform one of the many retrieval points for data.

The city depicted in the image is not unlike that of today's; the basic structural composition of them is familiar, however the metallic islands they seem to be on are quite new, but i am overlooking the fact this is no earth; this is in fact a totally different planet, the large moon/planet in view is mightily large, this planet must have a huge mass for such a moon to not cause the surface of the planet to erupt from gravitational forces, perhaps it is on a collisions course; only a few lights glow from the side of the metallic-island of the city, one would think the majority to be on, perhaps the majority of this civilisation has fled, only the basic street lights are alight amongst the city, surely this bares a signal of what omen the people discovered?

Dispairing, dark & lonely colours fill the pictures mood; this seems to suggest my guess of what predicament the planet is in, it also suggests a ruined world perhaps, the grey outline of a seemingly gloomy mountain in the backdrop, the dull industrialised sense to the city, the morbid colours emphasise a seemingly sad tone to the image, much can be thought of what is happening amongst the planet, the machinations zooming around in some sort of frenzy as if sensing something, seeking out anyone on the planet in need of knowing?

Whatever the future of this planet it seems grim, you have captured me, i am quite inspired now, i thankyou for the inspiration. In terms of detail i have quite a liking to those clouds; they have a rich depth to them & again the gloomy colours seem to accentuate there mood well. Keep up this truly inspiring work man, you should always know it is such a great thing, if you enjoy doing this art feel free to continue man, someone will always enjoy it!

Thats stunning for 10 hours spyro*!. Brown seems to be your favourite colour palette, as most of your pieces have a dark gloomyness about them. Theres also some very nice lighting for the city aswell.. I love a good, Vast!, landscape .
