Description
New version as of March 3, 2016Oh hi there! I decided to do another tutorial, because I like doing them. As usual I failed miserably.
Notes to Clarify
- Part of atmospheric lighting is the highlights. For most of the sample images I kept the highlight layers on, so some parts of the shading might be a bit too bright.
-I use Paint Tool SAI, meaning my Luminosity layer is different then Photoshop's. Just play with layer moods till you find one that works.
- You can shade with uncomplimentary colors. If your orange character is in a green forest, then you kind of have to shade with green. Just try dulling the color and you'll be fine.
- Try new things. I only started using a ton of colors once I was comfortable using one or two. Start with one color for shading, and gradually try using multiple colors.
Yep, yep that is it. All these images are mine. No touchy :U
