After 2 weeks of painting almost everyday after work I finally finished this mountain reflection painting! At 24”x36” this is the biggest acrylic painting I’ve ever done and I’m so proud of myself for sticking to it given my history of abandoning difficult artwork. I based this loosely on a photo I took in the Holy Cross Wilderness on the Colorado Trail last summer - while I may have embellished some things with paint, this segment of the CT was by far one of the most spectacular I walked through and I highly recommend checking it out if you get a chance!
