Description
This was a final project that I recently completed for my animation design class. Since it was part of a group, my leader thought of doing a space theme involving personifying the planets in our solar system. I chose Jupiter since it’d be easy to work with.

Our group specifically thought of dressing our characters in Greek clothing specifically to point to how the planets are named after mythological gods, hence why Jupiter is wearing a toga. The fluffed portion of his dual cape resembles clouds to symbolize the wind storms, the cape’s patterns based off of the rings seen on the planet’s surface. I also thought it’d make sense to include its symbol on the belt. And as a final touch, I had to include the famous big red spot on his chest as a birthmark. XD
