Bara is pornography that involved homosexual men that have traits that are considered 'masculine' (though the words can also apply to male characters that can fin in 'bara' regardless of orientation). Thymilph has a thick frame, having huge muscles and a huge gut, being hairy to boot! All of these are properties that you would expect in a 'bara' character.
