Radiophyta, the mushroom-like "plants" spreading across Mare Vitae's substrates. These organisms are characterized by a stem and bulb which is capable of asexually sprouting clone offspring. The stem is able to move slowly in order to point the photosynthetic segment toward the sunlight. Like the Discophytes, Radiophytes only sexually reproduce in unfavorable conditions and usually bud more individuals. The males of this clade have reproductive organs resembling tentacles which they use to penetrate the outtake siphon of the female radiophyte. "Seeds" are released into the water column and sink down once nutrient reserves run low. Radiophyta is the most diverse clade on Mare Vitae and inhabits all ecosystems, a reason for this is the fact that they have two ways of gaining nutrients while "animals" have only one.
