Description
The floating forests have existed in colder waters for millions of years, mostly comprised of algaes and vascular plants descended from bladderwort and hornwort. Many algaes in the jar have taken a similar route to marine-macro algae on Earth having large leaf-like apendages leading many to believe they are actual plants. These forests provide a vital habitat for animals that otherwise would never be this far out in the jar's vast sea.
