Personality: A lot of the time Basil is very hostile, quick to attack. Although most places she sits silently, glaring. It's hard for her not to find a reason to hate people. She'd much rather read or explore alone than talk to people. Does not play well with others.
However no matter how much she generally dislikes people, she hates watching people suffer. Basil can't just sit to the side when she knows people are hurt, no matter how much she'd rather be on a team by herself. She'll even accept help from others if it means she can stop someone's suffering. Although it didn't sound like a place you'd find Basil, she wanted to get over her dislike for people. She hoped that if she got used to being around others she would make close friends as well as do something with a lot of her free time. No friends, not much to really do.
Basil also really liked the idea of exploring. Despite it being how she gained her scars, she still wanted to do it pretty badly. She couldn't adventure alone anymore, she learned first hand it's too dangerous.
She may not get along with many people, but when she does she can be fiercely loyal. She won't stand for anyone picking on her friends, although her solution is usually violence. But it works most the time!
