Alright!! I can now upload films to DeviantART! That means instead of linking to my YouTube page, I can actually have my stuff here!!! How exciting!(I shall copy/paste my comments from the other one..)
This was my final project for my Beginning Animation class in the spring semester of 2009. Created with sharpie and cel paint on good old fashioned animation cels. Backgrounds printed out from Photoshop. Filmed on a 35mm animation camera. Laser pointer dot created with a laser pointer.
It took approximately 3 months to make and 10 hours to shoot. I never would have finished painting all the cels if it weren't for the four other members of my family pitching in for a weekend. I love them so! *hugs!*
All and all, I'm very proud of how it turned out. I was actually one of the few people in my class to use actual cels - most of the others used paper. A lot of extra work on my part, but I think it was worth it!

This was funny! I felt bad for it when it hit the wall haha i have to get a laser pointer and try it on my cat. Love the animation and the colors looked so smooth when the cat was moving. Great job congratulations on the DD!

I loved the short and especially the look of painted cels! The flashing cels with slightly different paint color are priceless.

We've all been in that position (the girl, that is) . What's even worse is when your cat sits on your lap, and you need to get up, but they won't move.

My cat used to love the laser pointer. xD Everytime she'd hear me pick it up she'd come running. I'd usually make her go in circles so she'd get dizzy and fall over. X3

We never got these on DVD, but they ahowed up on the anim server from when they digitized the copies. We took them from there.

i will most likely be pumping out the clean ups during the week, and this weekend probably starting friday i will be living in COM 118 and painting and inking! >< basically, all you'd need to bring would be brushes, wear something you're not afraid to get dirty, and maybe an inking pen or two (05 and 08).
i do have some brushes, but lots shed, and the one im using for the watercolors. sooo yeah. INK IS FUNTIMES!!

Teehee. It's so fun, isn't it? Unfortunately after some time my cats became immune to it. Now when we try they just look at us like we're stupid.
