one of many card collage works in progress...the front element is attached (at the top) but the rest is was intentionally left unglued so that additional elements can be added and tucked beneath it...the edges were burned with a match since i like the effect and texture produced....the paper is actually scrap booking paper that i had cut professionally to 2.5 x 3.5 at a print shop... having bought several books (or collections) at the local art/hobby store over the last few months have me plenty of material to work with once it was all cut to size...the odd sizes from the trim can still be used for other projects so if you want to do this for your self have them saved...doing this gave me over 5,000 individual pieces so mixing layers and textures is much easier...from card is far from finished and may be used as the back of another card later or as part of a trade or more likely a future collaboration
